Natalia Iverson, M.A., LMFT – Intern

Admin“Helping couples reconnect, rebuild trust, and restore emotional intimacy.”

My therapeutic lens is grounded in the Satir Model, which emphasizes authenticity, emotional awareness, and growth through connection.
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Biopsychosocial approach to help couples explore how emotions, personal history, and life context shape their relationship patterns.

As interventions, I draw from the Gottman Method to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster secure, lasting bonds. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and focused on helping partners move from disconnection toward emotional safety and deeper understanding.

Educational Background and Credentials:

Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Systemic Sex Therapy at Northcentral University (May 2021 – Present).
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Minor in Management and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
With over 16 years of service and leadership in the U.S. Navy, I bring a grounded, mission-focused, and trauma-informed
perspective to therapy. This experience strengthens my ability to support military, first responder, and multicultural couples navigating the unique stressors of service and family life.

Outside the therapy room, I stay active through kickboxing, pole dancing, and event planning. I also love exploring new cuisines
and cultures through wine and restaurant tastings. For stress relief, I enjoy cooking, journaling, window shopping, running, and
dancing bachata, merengue, and kompa—and I find peace in simply walking in the rain. These creative and grounding outlets help me maintain balance, authenticity, and presence—qualities I bring into every client session.
